Thank You to All Volunteers for Making 2007 a Success
Once again, we couldn’t have done it without you. The 2007 race was a huge success thanks to our incredible volunteers who continue to make this race a success year after year. We hope that you all made it out to the Volunteer Appreciation BBQ last weekend. We’re excited to watch this race continue to grow as we invite even more people from around the world to our wonderful city and show them what Nevada has to offer beyond gaming. So once again, we will need your help in 2008.
We have heard countless praise from participants who benefited from a 4:1 volunteer to athlete ratio; something that is virtually unheard of in this sport. We’ve heard nothing but compliments from our finishers who have raved about how supportive and encouraging the volunteers and Henderson Community were.
